WE IMPACT CLIMATE CHANGE BY PROMOTING RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

Our dog leashes and collars are made from plastic and textile waste and can be recycled into new products. This circular supply chain uses less energy and water and reduces emissions compared to virgin materials.

#14

Life Below Water

A staggering 8 million tons of plastic leaks into the ocean every year. If we don't rethink its use, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish (by weight) by 2050.

#12

Responsible Production

Our increasing consumption coupled with decreased quality-think fast fashion- is creating a crisis in landfills and waterways.

#6

Clean Water and Sanitation

Seeks to ensure safe drinking water and sanitation for all, focusing on the sustainable management of water resources, wastewater and ecosystems, and acknowledging the importance of an enabling environment.

OUR IMPACT

We are a small business with big ambitions.

We are working toward GRS (Global Recycled Standard) which includes a 50% minimum recycled content percentage and additional social and environmental requirements related to processing and chemical use

SEAWOOF BRAND VALUES

CIRCULAR SUPPLY CHAIN

We use waste as a resource to turn what would have been trash into high-quality dog products and take them back to remake them into new products.

RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION

Our manufacturing partners share our desire to put people and planet
before profit. We choose materials, suppliers and manufactures who are certified by independent 3rd-party organizations to meet or exceed social and environmental regulations

PREMIUM QUALITY AND DESIGN

We use the highest quality materials and hardware and test every item to ensure your pup is safe, comfortable, and stylish

1% FOR THE PLANET

Help fund climate change organizations

We donate 1% of our sales to 1% for the Planet who provides financial support to environmental nonprofits working to defend our air, land and water and decrease climate change.

“The intent of 1% for the Planet is to help fund these diverse environmental organizations so that collectively they can become a more powerful source in solving the world’s problems.” Yvon Chouinard/ Patagonia

RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING

Eliminating Plastic Packaging

We are a member of Prana’s Responsible Packaging Movement. This means we pledge not to use plastic in our packaging. Our products ship in paper content mailers which can be composted or recycled.

40% of plastic waste in the US comes from packaging which has one of the shortest lifespans of all sectors; sometimes as little as 15 minutes for a single use bag.
