Tired of dealing with dog hair on your couch? Our 100% cotton throw blankets are here to rescue you. They're built tough to withstand snags and are made from recycled cotton. Perfect for your living room, bedroom, car trips, or anywhere you want to keep dog hair at bay. You may also like our matching dog beds.

  • These blankets feature vintage-inspired stripes woven into the fabric using a traditional yarn dye technique. The material is a chunky canvas with a wonderfully soft and relaxed feel.
  • Taking care of them is a breeze – just toss them in the washing machine with cold water and either tumble dry or hang them up to dry. Opting for hanging is not only eco-friendly but also extends the life of your blanket.
  • Measuring 50 x 70 inches, our throw blankets are generously sized to keep you cozy.

Now, let's talk about our responsible supply chain:

Our Canyon Stripe Recycled Cotton collection, including dog bed covers and throw blankets, is crafted in a GOTS (Global Organic Standard) factory in India. The recycled cotton yarns are a blend of shredded cotton scraps and virgin organic cotton.

When making clothing, about 15% of the fabric becomes waste during the cutting process. Instead of discarding this, we collect and shred these scraps back into cotton ball-like forms. They are then combined with organic cotton to create yarn. This process reduces the need for new cotton, conserving water and lowering emissions from processing and transportation.

We don't use 100% recycled cotton because that process shortens the fibers, resulting in unstable, pilling fabric. To offer you high-quality, durable blankets that are gentle on the environment, we blend organic cotton with recycled materials.

Our factory partner holds SA 8000 certification, ensuring they meet or exceed social responsibility standards in various critical areas, including child labor, forced labor, health and safety, worker rights, and environmental practices.

We also love our supplier for their "zero discharge" textile processing, where 98% of their water is recycled. They employ a limestone filtration system to clean water used in textile dyeing and processing. The sediment sludge is then repurposed to create cement, closing the sustainability loop.

The reason we don't use 100% recycled cotton is that the recycling process involves shredding the cotton scraps until they become fluff-like cotton balls again. This process shortens the fibers and produces an unstable, pilling fabric. We chose to blend organic cotton with recycled to make a high-quality, durable fabric that’s better for the environment.

Our factory partner is SA 8000 certified which means they meet or exceed social accountability in the workplace in these important areas: child labor, forced labor, health and safety, free association and collective bargaining, discrimination, disciplinary practices, working hours and compensation.

The other reason we love this supplier is they have “zero discharge” textile processing that recycles 98% of their water. They use a limestone filtration system to clean the water discharged during textile dying and processing. The sediment sludge is dried in solar beds and used to make cement!
